FAQs

Does my child have to be potty trained?

We do not expect children in the 2 year old Play Date class to be potty trained, but please note that if a dirty diaper transpires during the course of the morning, a parent will be called to change into a clean diaper/pull-up. Otherwise, we do ask that children are potty trained, but we are willing to work with parents/children in special circumstances.

Do you have before and after school childcare?

Yes! Clubhouse opens at 7:00 am for before school childcare. After school, Clubhouse is open until 5:30pm. The cost is $1.75 per child per half hour. Please note… children in morning classes may ONLY use before school childcare and children in the afternoon classes may ONLY use after school childcare.

Do you have a full day option?

Yes! A full day option is available to children enrolled in the 5 year old Pre K class. St. Peter’s Learning Individualized Enrichment and Achievement Program (iLEAP) is an enrichment program that operates as an extension to the morning preschool session.

In addition, Preschool Educational Enrichment Program (PEEP) is offered as a full day program to students enrolled in a 3 year old or 4 year old preschool morning class.  PEEP students attend their preschool class in the morning, then at dismissal they join staff for lunch, free play, rest time and enrichment activities.

When does the preschool year begin and end?

Preschool begins the week after Labor Day and ends the week before Memorial Day.

What is your student to teacher ratio?

All of our 2 and 3 year old classes employ a teacher and an assistant. Our average class size is 12 for the 4 year olds and 14 for our 5 year old class.

Do classes take field trips?

Yes! Field trips are a part of the excitement throughout the year for every class except the 2 year old Play Date class.
